PowerQuote Software has released PowerQuote 10, printing estimating and management software that's built for Mac OS X, but also runs on Mac OS 8.6-9.2.2.
PowerQuote is built to handle offset, copy and brokered jobs. It tackles written quotes, job tickets, invoicing, recall of jobs for reorders, and more. Estimates are based on actual production rates; rates that can be fine-tuned to match a user's specific needs. The software can work with an existing accounting system, and can be used to calculate prices for six to 60 quantities at once.
You can save job specs as quotes, then recall them to convert to a job. You can also recall past jobs from the customer job history for reorders or as a template for a new estimate.
PowerQuote does print estimating for printers located in the U.S. and Canada. Printers in Australia and the United Kingdom can participate in PowerQuote Software's localization testing program.
Both a Standard and Lite version are available. The Standard version regularly costs US$1,995 for a one-user version, and the Lite version is $1,195. However, through the end of the month you can buy the products for $1,695 and $995, respectively.
The Lite version can be upgraded to the Standard version to gain production schedule, invoicing, account receivables and network capability. Demos are available at the PowerQuote Software Web site.
