Equinux USA Inc. has released an update to their VPN Tracker software for Mac OS X to enable users to work with Netgear Inc.'s VPN (Virtual Private Networking) firewalls.

VPN Tracker enables Jaguars users to set up secure and encrypted Internet connections. The software uses the IPSec protocol and supports software and hardware-based firewalls including SonicWALL, PGPnet, FreeS/WAN, ZyXEL, WatchGuard and more.

With the release of VPN Tracker v2.04, the software is now able to work with Netgear devices and supports pre-shared key and RSA X.509 certificate user authentication.

The update is free for registered users. VPN Tracker costs US$89.90 for the personal edition and $199.90 for the pro edition.
