Liebert Corp. has introduced two new PowerSure PST Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) models. The two models offer 350VA or 500VA respectively, and is certified for use on Mac OS X v10.2 or later.

The systems provide a minimum of three minutes of battery backup power at full load, and integrate surge and data line protection. The system provides the ability to perform a controlled shutdown through a USB interface, to make sure that your Mac can stop gracefully in the event of an extended outage.

The PowerSure PST sports three battery-backed UPS outlets, and two surge-only outlets. It also has audible and visual alarms to alert users to conditions that might result in a shutdown.

The PowerSure PST is available for US$91 or $114 depending on the model.
