Shecom Corp. has announced the Ikebana FireWire 800/USB 2.0 Combo external hard drive. The drive is compatible with both Macs (running Mac OS X 10.2.3 or higher) and PCs.
With a storage capacity of up to 250GB, the Ikebana ICE-800 Combo Hard Drive ships with Dantz Retrospect backup software. The retail package also includes an external AC adaptor and FireWire 800 interface cable.
The combo hard drive has a manufacturers suggested retail price of US$289 for the 120GB version, $449 for the 200GB model, and $579 for the 250GB device. All models should be available by June 30.
