Mill Valley, Calif.-based Stalker Software on Monday introduced CommuniGate Pro v4.1 with Groupware at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference being held this week San Francisco, Calif.

CommuniGate Pro v4.1 features an enhanced Webmail interface with advanced calendaring, scheduling and contact management capabilities, according to Stalker Software.

"As the number of remote users in the workforce continues to grow, organizations must provide them with secure access to e-mail, contacts and calendars while away from the office. CommuniGate Pro v4.1 with Groupware is an ideal solution for enterprise and education users looking to increase productivity by managing appointments and tasks, collaborating on projects and sharing contacts from their office or on the road," said Vladimir Butenko, president and CEO of Stalker Software.

CommuniGate Pro v4.1 supports a variety of protocols and standards including SMTP/POP/IMAP for e-mail and iCalendar/iTIP/iMIP for calendaring. The server software runs on over 30 OS/hardware combinations, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, Mac OS X and AS/400.
