Ranchero Software has updated NetNewsWire, its RSS Web newsreader for Mac OS X, to v1.0.3. The new version adds a new Combined View feature and makes other changes, too.

With NetNewsWire, Mac users can check RSS newsfeeds offered by many various Web sites. The software enables users to schedule periodic downloads of those newsfeeds to check for new articles and content. The software also features the ability to post to Weblogs and more.

With Combined View, titles and descriptions are now maintained together in a single pane. Also new to v1.0.3 is the ability to edit Weblogs posted through LiveJournal. Other changes have been made as well -- more details are available from Ranchero Software's Web site.

NetNewsWire normally costs US$39.95, but for the remainder of June, Ranchero Software is selling the software for $29.95.
