Aladdin Systems, Inc. has released Ten for X Utilities Volume 2, a sequel to the collection of Mac OS X utilities. Though it's called Ten For X, it actually includes 11 fully-registered applications for US $49.99. Volume 2 includes:

  • Spamfire, a tool for eliminating spam;
  • Carbon Copy Cloner, a utility for backing up drives, volumes, files, etc.;
  • DragStrip, which offers one-click desktop access to files on your Mac;
  • iCan, a "skinnable" trash can;
  • iClock SE, a menubar clock replacement that displays a world clock, weather, calendar, Area and Zip Code look-up ability, and more;
  • iPulse, a graphical system monitor that shows memory, CPU, disk, and network bandwidth;
  • Labels X, which restores Label functionality from the traditional Mac operating system; this functionality (which will return to Mac OS X with the upcoming Panther release) lets you label items with colors, then sort, find, or organize items by those labels;
  • MacReporter, a "news agent" that resides in the Dock and tracks the headlines from your favorite Web sites;
  • Path Finder, a file browser that offers smart sorting, viewing, the creation of disk images, graphic format conversion, and simple editing of common text and graphic files;
  • Quick Voice, a voice recorder for recording notes, reminders, voice stickies, and voice e-mail;
  • X Overload, an "extensions manager" that manages extensions, plug-ins, etc.
  • Volume 1 is still available. It consists of:

  • Alarm Clock S.E., which lets you schedule the playing of MP3s, calendars, the launching of scripts, etc.;
  • FruitMenu 2.0, which lets you customize and enhance the Apple and Contextual menus;
  • iClean 5.0, a utility for clearing the history, cache, and cookies from your Mac;
  • ideaSpiral X, a creativity aid for organizing notes and ideas in a single file;
  • LaunchBar, which lets you open files, URLs, and e-mail addresses by typing an abbreviation;
  • Limewire Pro, a peer-to-peer file sharing client;
  • piPop, a pop-up hierarchical navigation and launching application;
  • Pseudo, which lets you launch applications as an administrator (even if you're not logged in as root);
  • PrintMagic X, a print utility that fine tunes print options and conserves ink, toner, and paper;
  • WindowShade X, which adds the Window Shade features of Mac OS 9.x to Mac OS X:
  • Xounds, which brings Appearance sounds to OS X.
  • Both volumes of Ten for X require Mac OS 10.2 or higher.
