Though MacMania II has just ended -- see our June 3, June 4, June 6, and June 9 articles for details -- MacMania III is already in the planning stages.

MacMania combines an ocean voyage (including various stops along the way) with 20 hours of conference courses -- rather like "a Macworld Expo at sea." It's organized by Geek Cruises, which specializes in such cruises, and co-sponsored by Mac Publishing.

MacMania III will run Nov. 7-14, 2004, in the Eastern Caribbean. Ports of call will include: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Road Town, Tortola (British Virgin Islands); and Half Moon Cay (the Bahamas). Scheduled speakers so far include: Jesse Feiler, Laura Gutman, Deke McClelland, David Pogue, Joe Schorr, Jason Snell, Sal Soghoian, and Steve ("Woz") Wozniak.
