Electric Rain Inc. has launched Flash Illuminations, an experimental showcase project designed to demonstrate the how Macromedia Flash MX and Swift 3D work together to create 3D applications.

Swift 3D is a standalone application for allowing designers to build and export 3D animations to the Flash (SWF) file format, as well as other vector and raster formats. Flash Illuminations highlights new Swift 3D vector rendering capabilities, photo-realistic raster rendering, SmartLayer Technology, and modeling and animation enhancements.

Electric Rain is providing visitors to the site with free Macromedia Flash MX and Swift 3D tutorials, along with the downloadable source code (FLA files) for each of the four projects. These free tutorials and files will let Flash users deconstruct the inner workings of the projects, and gain tips for enhancing their Flash and 3D abilities.
