UniLingua, a "vocabulary trainer" designed to help users learn foreign languages, has been updated to version 2.0. The new version is ready for download from the Web site.

UniLingua enables users to maintain multiple databases, each comprising several categories. Unicode-compatible, UniLingua is compatible with almost every language, according to its developers. You can sort words in categories, drag word lists from the Internet into UniLingua, export content as HTML pages, and more. What's more, there's a plug-in interface that supports the development of new capabilities, as well.

Now optimized for Mac OS X, UniLingua also sports new features including improved word management.

UniLingua is available for download now; the software is released as a 14-day time-limited demo. UniLingua costs €11.95 to register. More details can be viewed at the Web site.
