Thanks to everyone who wrote in or posted on the Forums about my AppleScript for iChat. Nobody really ripped into my incompetent AppleScript, which was nice.

In any event, I've updated that entry with a clever command-line fix that means you don't have to go to Internet Connect in order to find out what AirPort Base Station you're connected to. For those of you scoring at home. (Thanks to Jeff Veen for that one!)

For the record, the command-line command is:

system_profiler SPAirPortDataType|awk -F": " '/Current Wireless Network/{print $2}'
