Haarlem, The Netherlands-based software developer Sceneware has announced the release of SceneScope 1.2, an MPEG-4 and 3GPP analysis and verification software tool that's available for the first time for Mac OS X. The software provides analysis of audio, video, Binary Format for Scenes (BIFS), and other content, verifying track data against the MPEG-4 standard, returning error warnings and more. Users can switch decoders, export sample data in different formats and more. In addition to Mac OS X support, the new release offers extended conformance reporting in XML, an improved user interface, more in-depth analysis of MPEG-4 and H.263/AVC video and more.
