I need to make a list of e-mail addresses so that I can put them on a server. I need to create a text file that contains a return separated list of e-mails. How can I extract all the e-mail addresses from my mail and address book and make the above list.

You can add email addresses from Apple’s Mail to Address Book by selecting those messages that contain the addresses you want and clicking Mail’s Add Address button. Once the addresses are in Address Book, do what I do and use David Martin’s free Address Book Exporter. This is a simple utility that will export all the information in your Apple Address Book to a tab-delimited text document. And no, you don’t have to export all the information in Address Book. The program allows you to select just the data you want — first name, last name, and email address (work, home, and other), for example. It’s free, it works, go get it.
