As I write this it’s six and a half hours before Tiger is unleashed in California so I can not yet speak in an official capacity about Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). Unofficially, however, I’m welcome to pass along an amusing Tiger tip tucked away on Apple’s website. That tip is:

When you get your copy of Tiger, launch Dashboard (pressing F12 will do it) and locate the Weather widget. Press Command and Option and click anywhere in the widget. The location will change to Nowhere and display one of the weather graphics. While holding down Command and Option continue clicking on the widget to view all the weather graphics included with the widget. Hiding and revealing Dashboard will return the Weather widget to its previously configured location.
