Phelios Inc. has released RSS Writer, a new tool aimed at webmasters who want to offer a Really Simple Syndication/Rich Site Summary (RSS) feed for their Web site. It’s available for Mac OS X and Windows, and has been released as freeware.

RSS Writer is an offline tool developed for webmasters who are maintaining their sites using “traditional” HTML methods or who are using templates for their sites that don’t create and automate Extensible Markup Language (XML) files used in RSS syndication.

RSS Writer creates the .XML file itself and requires the webmaster only to upload the file. Webmasters input site information, title, link and descriptions.
