Richmond, Calif.-based peripheral maker Keyspan on Thursday announced the Easy Presenter, a Radio Frequency (RF)-based remote control that works with both Macs and PCs, enabling users to run presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote. Shipping this month, Easy Presenter costs US$39.
The receiver connects to any available USB port. The remote itself features controls including slide forward and back, volume up, down and mute, black screen, start presentation and exit presentation. What’s more, the presentation remote incorporates a laser pointer so you can help draw the audience’s attention to specific areas on the screen.
Keyspan claims the Easy Presenter remote works up to 60 feet from the base. It also includes a power switch to help conserve battery life when not in use. A pouch is included to protect the remote when it’s not in use.
