MYOB US Inc. on Tuesday announced AccountEdge and AccountEdge Network Edition 2006. the new version of the small business management and accounting software for Mac OS X costs US$299 for a single user license and $149 for each multi-user license.
AccountEdge features sales and purchases modules, banking capabilities, inventory tracking time billing, customer management and payroll features. The Network Edition lets multiple users work simultaneously.
Major additions in the new 2006 edition include the ability to save up to 7 years of transaction history; the ability to combine two general ledger accounts into one accounts; combining contact files; stronger inventory management features; multi-year budget planning; new Timesheets functinality and much more.
Other enhancements include the abioity to pay payroll liabilities more easily; the ability to post transactions on a selected date from the To Do List, create recurring invoices for multiple customers at one time by selecting multiple cards and more.
