Apple has released Bluetooth Firmware Update for Mac OS X 10.4.3, intended only for certain Macs — the iMac G4, iMac G5, 12-inch and 15-inch “Titanium” PowerBook G4 and Mac mini.

The description of a 12-inch Titanium model has left some Mac users scratching their heads, however, since Apple only produced the 12-inch pro laptop model in an aluminum chassis.

The update “improves Bluetooth performance and reliability issues,” according to Apple. Apple notes that the update can be applied to Macs that have built-in, internal Bluetooth modules and USB-based Bluetooth adapters manufactured by D-Link.
