The latest beta of LaunchBar 4.1 will run natively on both Intel-based and PowerPC Macs, developer Objective Development said Thursday.

In addition to adding Universal compatibility, LaunchBar 4.1, beta 3 also delivers performance improvements; Objective Development claims searches are now twice as fast as in previous versions. The company lists all of the changes in this latest LaunchBar beta in its release notes.

A home-user license for LaunchBar 4 sells for $20. Family and business licenses are available for $30 and $39, respectively. The beta is a free download for registered users.
