Koyono Company has announced new outerwear for Spring that includes integrated controls for iPods. The jackets will be available for sale beginning between February and May and will cost from $179 to $1,000 depending on the design.

The new BlackCoat Work will appear in March and is made from water-resistant stretch cotton. Like Koyono’s other products, the BlackCoat Work features iPod controls manufactured by Eleksen from its ElekTex “smart fabric interface” — a five-layer laminate that turns fabric into a touchpad that is durable, washable and flexible.

Koyono said it plans to introduce other coats names Sport and Minimal, as well as a “surprise” garment that it will release for summer.
