Caravel Games on Tuesday announced it its Deadly Rooms of Death (DROD) games are now Macintosh-compatible. A series of adventure and puzzle games with a sense of humor, the first two DROD games are ready for download, with a third coming later this month.

In the DROD games, you assume the role of a Dungeon Exterminator named Beethro. Stingy King Dugan hires Beethro to take care of a small vermin infestation, but Beethro soon discovers that King Dugan’s dungeons are chock full of horrors that need to be put down.

The original DROD: King Dugan’s Dungeon has already spawned a sequel: DROD: Journey to Rooted Hold. Their expansion, a new installment called DROD: Perfection, is expected to be announced later this month and will be Mac and Windows-compatible. Demos are available for download. Both require Mac OS X, but more specific system requirements had not been listed as Macworld posted this article.
