MakeMusic on Thursday announced support for Apple’s recently released Intel-based Macintosh computers. The company said that the next version of Finale, its music notation software, will be made as a Universal Binary, running natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. While the company did not give a firm date for the release of the update, they did say that Finale is typically updated on an annual basis. The most recent version of Finale was released on July 25, 2005.
