Microsoft on Tuesday released Wireless Laser Desktop for Mac, which consists of a Wireless Comfort Curve Keyboard and a wireless High Definition laser mouse. Microsoft said the keyboard layout is Mac specific — in fact this is the only keyboard the company makes without the Windows Start button. Compatible with Intel and PowerPC-based Macs, the keyboard has hot keys that are mapped to Mac programs like iTunes and iPhoto. The laser mouse features a Tilt Wheel for navigating and viewing documents and spreadsheets with ease. One-click access to Microsoft’s Magnifier tool makes the Mac magnifier feature more discoverable. Microsoft said the mouse is more responsive and precise than standard optical mice. The Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop for Mac will be available this summer for $99.95.
