Twisted Ninja Software on Friday announced the pre-order availability of Tubular, a Mac OS X application that provides access to YouTube’s library of video content. It can be pre-ordered for $12.99 and is expected to be released before the end of the year, when the price will go up.

Tubular, previously known as InnerTube, lets you browse, search and view videos made available through YouTube. You can watch videos directly within the application instead of watching them through your Web browser, and you can also convert videos to a format viewable on a fifth-generation iPod. You can also copy YouTube URLs to send to friends (or store for later consumption).
