IDG World Expo on Thursday announced the schedule for the Power Tools Conferences scheduled to take place during Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, which returns to San Francisco, Calif. from January 8 - 12, 2007.

The Power Tools Conferences are focused on providing professionals with detailed training on specific Mac applications and tools. The conference schedule includes classes on Mac OS X server, HD video production, Apple’s Logic music software, publishing and more.

This year, the Power Tools Conferences will feature feature “Flashforward@MW.” Headed by Lynda Weinman, president of Lynda.com, and featuring other Flash luminaries including Adobe’s Flash product manager and others, the conference helps users get up to speed with the latest techniques and trends using Adobe Flash technology. The two-day seminar includes information on video, animation, interactive design and development using Flash. It’ll primarily focus on Flash 8 Professional, though instruction will be given on Flex and Flash Lite, and a preview will be made of future Flash technologies like Apollo.

Macworld owner Mac Publishing and IDG World Expo are both owned by International Data Group (IDG).
