The Macworld Podcast goes live—well, as live as a podcast can go—as I record a session in front of an audience on the Macworld Expo show floor.

Now, pervious podcasts this week have covered Apple’s announcements and cool products on the show floor. So what is there left to cover? I go behind-the-scenes to talk to conference sessions speakers and developers who don’t have a booth at Expo. My guests at this Macworld Live session—and now in this podcast—are photojournalist Steve Simon, photograph Joseph O. Holmes, and Rogue Amoeba’s CEO/Lackey Paul Kafasis.

Show Notes

Steve Simon talks about his photo books Heroines & Heroes: Hope, HIV and Africa , The Republicans , and Empty Sky: The Pilgrimage to Ground Zero , all of which are available at his Web site.

Former MacUser contributor, Joseph O. Holmes is now a successful fine-art photographer, represented by the Jen Beckman Gallery in New York.

Both photographers talk about Apple’s Aperture workflow application for digital photography. Macworld has reviewed Aperture and given it an Editors’ Choice Award.

If you haven’t looked at Rogue Amoeba’s software, please check out the company’s Web site. In particular, Paul and I talk about Audio Hijack Pro, Airfoil, and Fission —which, like Aperture, won an Eddy Award.
