Nokia 7380
The Nokia 7380 is officially the strangest cellphone I think I've ever seen. It looks like the illegitimate offpsring of an iPod shuffle and a car remote. But the 7380 doesn't have a keypad . Well, fine the iPod shuffle doesn't have a keyp—hang on, it's a bloody phone . So, instead of a keypad, you use something called the "Nokia Navi™ Spinner." I gather it spins.

The tri-band GSM 7380 also manages to cram a 2.0 megapixel camera, video recorder, video player, FM radio, MP3/AAC music player, Bluetooth, and 16 bit 104x208 pixel display into a 114x30x20mm package that weighs in at 80 grams and around $560. Sure, it's no world's thinnest cellphone, but it's still small enough that in an emergency, you can probably swallow it.*

In theory, the idea behind the 7480 is "elegance," and while I'm sure the lighter-sized phone will probably attract some glances, I think I'd rather have one that I could avoid losing within about a day of owning it. Then again, that's just me, and, as we know, there's no style here.

*Please do not swallow your Nokia 7380.
