Chronos has released major upgrades to its SOHO Notes and SOHO Organizer software, now both at version 6.0.
SOHO Notes is a note manager application for small business users. It captures and organizes personal information and lets you publish notes as a blog. It includes features like color coded labels, daily event tracking, audio note support, flagging, iPhoto integration and more.
New in the 6.0 release is support for custom form design, “Smart Folders” that let you include notes that meet specific criteria, scanning to PDF, keyword support, 256-bit encryption and custom folder icons.
SOHO Notes costs $39.99. Upgrades for registered users of previous versions are $25. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later. A demo version is available.
SOHO Organizer is a contact, calendar and note manager for Mac OS X. It supports flexible laouts and themes, lets you sync to Palm or iPod, establish relationships between multiple contacts, view calendar content in super-month, day, year and journal views, synchronize calnedars using .Mac, and more.
New to the 6.0 release of SOHO Organizer is the ability to publish your calendar to the Internet, support for CalDAV servers, the ability to subscribe to other Internet-published calendars, and import and export support for the vCal format.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later. SOHO Organizer costs $99.99; upgrades from Personal & Group organizer cost $49.99. A demo version is also available.
