America Online (AOL) on Monday announced improved services aimed specifically at its users with Mac computers. The company said it’s made better its AOL Radio, AOL Pictures and AOL Service Assistant for Mac users.
AOL Radio — the company’s streaming Internet radio service with XM satellite radio channels — now includes an Apple iChat song title indicator and an integrated screensaver generated from album art.
AOL Pictures, which provides AOL account holders with unlimited photo sharing capabilities, now features a plug-in for iPhoto to ease transferring photos from your Mac to the AOL Pictures service.
The AOL Service Assistant, which helps AOL users utilize Apple applications more easily with the AOL service, has also been improved. It offers automatic setup of Safari, iChat and Mail for use with AOL screen names, favorites, address book and e-mail.
