Markzware’s Q2ID v3 is now available. The software is a conversion tool designed to help QAdobe InDesign CS3 users import documents created using QuarkXPress. It costs $199; upgrades from previous versions cost $99.

Q2ID v3 works with any document created with QuarkXPress version 3.3 or later. Available now for the Macintosh, a Windows version is under development, according to Markzware.

Q2ID preserves page positioning, color models, fonts and styles, images and text attributes, and imports tables, layers, blends, runarounds, linked text boxes and anchored boxes, Pantone colors and other color models.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later, G4 or better (including Intel), Adobe InDesign CS2 or CS3, 128MB RAM and 250MB hard disk space.
