Here’s a quick iTunes 7 tip for those who download lots of content from the iTunes Store. As you know, your in-progress and queued downloads can be seen by clicking the cleverly-named Downloads entry in the Store section of iTunes’ left-hand Source list. What you may not have known is that you can reorder any queued downloads via drag-and-drop. Just click and hold the mouse on the download you’d like to move, and drag it to its new spot in the order.

If you’re like most iTunes’ users, though, you’ve probably got the Allow Simultaneous Downloads box checked (it’s at the bottom of the window displaying the current downloads). That means you won’t have anything queued (unless you’re downloading a ton of stuff at the same time). To rearrange an active download, you need to pause it first. Once paused, you can then drag it further down the priority list, then resume it. However, if you’re using simultaneous downloads, this really won’t change much, as everything will still download at the same time. (Please let me know if you can think of a situation where rearranging multiple simultaneous downloads would actually be useful!)
