WiebeTech has introduced its ToughTech FS, a desktop hard disk drive enclosure with three interfaces — FireWire 400, external Serial ATA (eSATA) and USB 2.0. The drive enclosure is available now starting at $79.95.

The ToughTech FS sports FlexMount anti-shock protection, two FireWire 400 ports, a single USB 2.0 port and a single eSATA port. It supports both SATA 1 and SATA 2 hard disk drive mechanisms, and uses Oxford Semiconductors’ Oxford 934 bridge chipset to connect.

The 0GB do it yourself version costs $79.95; WiebeTech also sells 250GB, 500GB, 750GB and 1 terabyte (TB) models for $184.95, $317.95, $415.95 and $611.95 respectively.

The ToughTech FS joins WiebeTech’s ToughTech XE, which sports a single USB 2.0 port, two FireWire 800 ports and one eSATA port, and the ToughTech 400, which features a USB mini-B receptacle and two FireWire 400 ports.
