Popular IM application Adium X has been updated, fixing many bugs. Adium 1.1.3 supports many protocols including AIM, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, Yahoo!, Google Talk, Yahoo! Japan, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, QQ, Novell Groupwise, SIP/SIMPLE (Text), and Lotus Sametime.

Fixed in the new version is a crash when canceling addition of a Bonjour account; a bug was fixed that caused accounts created in an older version of Adium to disappear when upgrading; fixed display of hidden message windows after clicking the Adium dock icon; and the update fixed a crash after deleting events in the Events preferences. There were several other changes in the update, as well.

Adium is free to download and use. The update is available from the developers Web site.
