Alien Skin Software on Monday announced the release of Exposure 2, a new version of its film stock simulator and effects package for Adobe Photoshop. Priced at $249, it costs $149 to upgrade from the 1.x version.

Exposure 2 enables you to add film grain and film-style effects to digital photos. It features more than 300 presets that emulate real film, both black and white and color. It helps digital photographers achieve film-like effects for fashion, wedding, magazine and event photography.

Exposure 2 lets you adjust grain size using a “roughness” control, and also sports color saturation, tone, sharpness and grain management effects.

Compatible with Adobe Photoshop CS2 and higher, Exposure 2 works with other applications that support Photoshop plug-ins as well. It’s a Universal binary.
