Music software-maker Ableton announced at the AES professional audio tradeshow on Friday a new series of instruments for Live 7. The instruments cover a range from electric pianos to drum machines.

Among the instruments that will be released is Tension, a string synthesizer; Electric, bringing you classic electric pianos; Analog, vintage analog synthesizers; Session Drums, a collection of multisampled acoustic drums; Drum Machines; Orchestral Strings; and others.

The new instruments will be available in the fourth quarter of 2007 and range in price from $79 to $249.
