Zeverix Solutions has announced the release of WordOutput 1.0, software that automates the output of Microsoft Word documents to printer and PDF. It costs $24.95.

WordOutput saves you from having to open and print Microsoft Word documents manually. You select the files you want to output, adjust the settings, and WordOutput handles the rest automatically. It operates in the background.

You can print or output to PDF files, outputting to “virtual printers” like Adobe PDF, CUPS-PDF and others, e-mail, fax, and output multiple Word documents to other formats, and add files either from a dialog box or using drag-and-drop from the finder. WordOutput provides status reports to let you know what’s happened during processing.

WordOutput requires Mac OS X v10.4.2 and higher, and is a Universal binary. It works with Microsoft Word 2004.
