Northern Softworks has released an update to its utility, ClipDoubler, bringing the current version to 1.1.6.

According to the developer, ClipDoubler gives you an unlimited amount of clipboards — if you want to revert back to the default OS X clipboard, simple quit ClipDoubler. The application supports dragging and dropping of text and pict files onto a clipboard.

ClipDoubler also gives you the ability to search across multiple clipboards, just in case you can’t find what you’re looking for right away.

ClipDoubler costs $8.99 and is available from the developers Web site.
