TrailRunner is Berbie Software’s outdoor route planning and journaling software for Mac OS X. Updated to 1.5, the new version is available for download — TrailRunner is freeware (donations are accepted).

TrailRunner is used by joggers, hikers, bikers and others who are doing workouts or planning routes through outdoor locations. The software provides automatic route calculation based on distance and “attractiveness,” includes a workout diary, historgrams and analysis tools.

New features in the 1.5 release include integration with online services to display topographic maps, satellite photos and elevation data.
