Agile Web Solutions has released 1Password 2.5, a new version of the company’s password manager for Mac OS X. A free upgrade for 1Passworld customers, the software costs $29.95 to register.

1Password is used to keep track to up to hundreds of passwords using a single “master key.” It integrates with Safari, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, Firefox, Camino and other applications. 1Password can let you take your passwords with you on Palm and Treo devices, generates strong passwords, integrates with .Mac and more.

New to version 2.5 is support for Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard.” Agile has also added a Sync to iPhone feature, updated the software’s look and feel, added a new “Wallet” feature for credit cards, improved automatic identity and credit card filtering, added new folder functionality and more.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later. A 30-day trial version is available for download.
