WebAssist on Thursday announced Pro Maps for Google, an extension to Adobe’s Dreamweaver Web design software that enables users to more easily integrate Google Maps onto Web sites they create. It costs $39.99.

The software steps you through the options of using Google Maps and the integration process with your Web site. You can display database-driven information or manually entered addresses in a custom Google map on any Dreamweaver-created Web site.

Pro Maps for Google lets you search for street addresses or coordinates, and features optional map controls, real-time traffic updates for over 30 major US metropolitan areas, and enhanced address markers.

Pro Maps for Google requires Dreamweaver CS3 or Dreamweaver 8 and works on Mac OS X and Windows.
