Professional print layout company, Quark, has detailed its compatibility with Apple’s recently released Mac OS X Leopard. The company said the newest version — QuarkXPress 7.3 — will run on Leopard with one caveat.
While Quark said version 7.3 is compatible with Leopard, the the Flash export in Quark Interactive Designer does not currently work with the new operating system. Quark said they “plan on releasing a QuarkXPress 7 update with fully tested Leopard support within the next few weeks.”
The update will be free for all registered QuarkXPress 7 users.
The company said QuarkXPress 6.5 is not compatible with Leopard.
