Mark/Space has released The Missing Sync for iPhone, synchronization software that enables users to work with additional kinds of data that aren't supported by iSync. It costs $39.95, and crossgrades from qualifying Mark/Space software cost $24.95.

The Missing Sync is a line of software products that enable devices such as Palm PDAs and smartphones and BlackBerry smartphones to synchronize contact and calendar data, along with other information, with the Mac.

The iPhone already features much of that capability built-in, so Mark/Space has provided additional functionality for the iPhone version of its software. You can archive SMS messages from your iPhone to your Mac, for example, archive call logs and notes. You can migrate contacts, calendar, photos and other data from your BlackBerry, Palm device or Windows Mobile device into your iPhone. You can also create a sortable, searchable SMS archive and organize notes into categories.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later.
