Avery Dennison plans to unveil DesignPro for Mac at Macworld Expo in San Francisco, from January 15 - 18, 2008. Planning for a beta release soon, Avery Dennison will let Expo visitors register to participate in the beta. The finished product will go on sale in the second calendar quarter of 2008.

DesignPro is a printing application aimed at users who want to design and create their own labels, business cards, greeting cards, index dividers and more. It features more than 1,300 pre-designed layouts with more than 2,000 piece of click art and photo images.

DesignPro features integration with iPhoto and iTunes, support for Address Book and mail. For Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard" users, DesignPro lets users Quick Look the contents of the file from the Finder without having to open the DesignPro application.
