MacPractice has announced the release of MacPractice Patient Interface for Web/Reception. It costs $800 plus $200 annually for support and updates; it's an add on for the full MacPractice software.

MacPractice is medical practice management software designed for Mac OS X. The software features patient and insurance billing, reports, e-claims, scheduling, prescription tracking and more.

The patient interface enables patients themselves to register themselves before arriving in the office, or complete registration forms in the reception area with the help of an available Mac or kiosk. Patients can also use the system to request an appointment. Registration and appointment forms are integrated into the practice's Web site.
