Popular spam filtering tool SpamSieve has been updated to version 2.6.6 fixing several issues the application has with Mac OS X Leopard.

In addition to many accuracy improvements, SpamSieve’s internal corpus storage has been rewritten to work around a performance bug in Leopard that could cause SpamSieve to launch slowly. Another problem in Leopard that could cause Apple Mail to launch several instances of SpamSieve.

Several other smaller changes were also made including the use of growl notifications and fixing a crash when processing HTML messages.
