Eos is a new multi-room digital wireless audio system made for iPod, from Intellitouch. It costs $249 for the "Core System" and $129.99 for speakers.

The Eos base system houses an iPod that connects using a dock connector; it has built-in speakers and comes with a wireless remote control. The device connects to wireless speakers that you can place up to 150 feet away from the base unit (one set of wireless speakers is included with the Core System bundle).

The speakers are amplified and plug into an AC wall socket. They can be mounted right on the wall outlet so no mounting bracket is required (the power supply can also be removed to let the speakers sit on a desk or bookshelf). The base unit supports up to four remote speaker systems.

Each speaker system features individual volume control, and the base unit and speakers incorporate ported subwoofers for fuller sound. They also incorporate SRS "WOW" technology that expands the speakers' dynamic audio performance, according to the manufacturer.
