Adobe Systems on Friday released Photoshop Lightroom 1.4 and Camera Raw 4.4. Both updates are available for download from Adobe’s Web site.

Photoshop Lightroom is a post-processing tool for digital photographers that provides cataloging and editing capabilities, output workflow and more. New to this release is support for Canon’s EOS 450D, Nikon D60, Sony A350 and other cameras. Printer driver support for Mac OS X v10.5 has also been improved.

Camera Raw is the plug-in that Photoshop and Photoshop Elements use to directly support digital cameras that produce “raw” digital image files. It works with Adobe Creative Suite 3, Photoshop C3, and Photoshop Elements 4.0 and 6.0.

New to Camera Raw 4.4 is support for the Canon EOS 450D, Fujifilm S100FS, Nikon D60, Olympus SP-570 UZ, Pentax K20D and K200D, and Sony A200, A300 and A350 digital cameras.
