Microspot has announced the release of MacDraft Professional and MacDraft Personal Edition version 5.6.4. The new releases are free updates for registered users. MacDraft Professional costs $349, MacDraft Personal costs $129.

MacDraft Pro is 2D drafting, design and illustration software for the Mac. It can be used for 2D CAD, drafting, technical illustration, architectural drawing and other needs. It includes drawing tools, extrusion, arc-drawing by radius, layering and many other features. MacDraft Personal is a vector-based graphic design software package used for creating floorplans, making technical diagrams, flowcharts and more.

The new 5.6.4 releases of both applications now work with Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard.” They support Leopard-specific features including QuickLook, which lets you view files without having to open the application first.
