Red Giant Software released Primatte Keyer 4, which adds support for Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Motion pro video applications.

Primatte Keyer promises to create an "almost perfect key" with one mouse click. Keying challenges such as uneven lighting, compression artifacts, subtle shadows and edge light contamination have also been overcome, according to the company.

Working from the timeline, Primatte uses auto setup to analyze the background color and create the key automatically. In addition to Final Cut Pro and Motion, Primatte Keyer 4 also works with After Effects and Avid.

Primatte Keyer 4 is now available for $499. Upgrades are available from any previous version for $199.
