Most of the Mac Gems I recommend in the Mac Gems weblog are productivity boosters or system enhancers, but I occasionally come across a great program that’s more fun than functional. In this week’s Macworld video, I show you CandyBar 3.1.2 , a joint effort between Panic and IconFactory that lets you customize your Mac’s icons—even the system-level icons that are generally a hassle (and risky) to modify.
In this video, I’ll show you how CandyBar works. I cover options for viewing icons, replacing icons on your Mac, and changing the appearance of the Dock, among other highlights.
